The Core Loop and Your First Goals

Your main early objective is to finish the story chapters. Story stages give experience, gold, and catalysts, and they unlock systems you will rely on later. Alongside the story, focus on a small number of reliable units rather than spreading resources thin.

Good first goals to aim for:

• Clear the opening story chapters to unlock the Hunt and side-content modes.
• Build one solid, well-rounded team you can take through most content.
• Complete daily and weekly missions for steady currency and growth materials.
• Work through the new-player events and login rewards, which often grant useful early units and resources.
• Start farming Hunts once your team is strong enough, since this is your main source of crafted gear.

Building Your First Team

A balanced early team usually wants a damage dealer, a unit that can sustain or heal, and support that provides buffs, debuffs, or extra turns. Many free and easily obtained Heroes carry beginners well into the mid-game, so you do not need rare units to progress. Level your Heroes, upgrade their skills, and keep gear awakening and enhancement focused on the units you actually use.

Gear is where most of your real power comes from. Prioritize equipping your main team with the best pieces you have, and pay attention to substats like Speed, Critical Hit Chance, and Critical Hit Damage on attackers, and Effectiveness or Effect Resistance where roles call for it.
